Essential oils
Essential oils are used for the scent of soaps. Essential oils are not just for scent. They are both healing. How you determine smells and direct your healing depends on your knowledge of essential oils and imagination. Aromatherapy is a great and interesting area.
The practice is to place 10 to 30 ml of essential oil on a kilogram of fat, depending on the intensity we want to achieve. Somehow we all stand about 10 ml, or one bottle per kilo of fat. Basically, that measure is enough. The soaps smell good, neither too much nor too much. After all, essential are often the most expensive part of soap making and so we save them.
You must be interested in buying essential oils and whether they are right. For a small bottle of essential oil you need huge amounts of plant material. For example, for one liter of essential rose oil you need 4-5 tons of rose petals. So that oil could be cheap. The situation is similar with other plants. Rose oil, mother-of-pearl, jasmine, ylang-ylang, chamomile ... are very expensive oils because of the difficult way to get it. The other oils are not that expensive. Perhaps it is helpful advice for you to start holding better quality brands that have a reputation for the moment. These are Pranar, Primavera and Oshadhi. You buy essential oils in specialized places, herbal pharmacies. Not in standard cosmetic shops. Such stores are filled with essential oils for the purpose of candle and flavoring the space. These are synthetic oils and they are not for skin!
In practice you will probably compromise. A lot of essential oils are added to the soaps, especially if you only need them for scent. For this purpose, they may also be cheaper, but you should make sure they are not synthetic. In the market there are ethereal oils of rosemary, lavender, mente, melissa and other plants. These oils are cheaper in good quality.
Let the oil simply add the harm to the soap because it quickly blows. This is the case for citrus oils. In that case, it would be good to add something that would serve as a fixator of scent. For the first hand will be good plain sugar, and even better if you have fructose. Approximately 2 teaspoons per kilogram of fat is added. Add it to take some water out of the total amount of water in the receptacle and melt the sugar. You get trapped.
